La Policía ecuatoriana detiene el despacho de 200 kilos de cocaína hacia el puerto de Tánger.

El puerto de Guayaquil y sus accesos hacia la terminal de Posorja continúan siendo objeto de atención en las operaciones contra el narcotráfico. Apenas unas horas antes, las autoridades habían desmantelado una organización que introducía cocaína en contenedores en el puerto de aguas profundas; en esta ocasión, la Policía Nacional de Ecuador ha logrado neutralizar nuevamente una operación en el mismo punto logístico, impidiendo que una nueva carga pudiera embarcarse hacia rutas internacionales.
El operativo se llevó a cabo en el estratégico enclave de Posorja, donde los agentes de inteligencia e intervención interceptaron un vehículo que se dirigía al puerto marítimo. Durante la minuciosa inspección del contenedor, el cual pertenecía a la naviera Maersk, los policías encontraron ocho maletas de viaje de alta resistencia, las cuales estaban hábilmente ocultas entre la carga de pallets de mercancía.
Al examinar los paquetes, las fuerzas de seguridad descubrieron un total de 200 paquetes rectangulares que, tras realizar las pruebas de campo pertinentes, resultaron ser positivos para clorhidrato de cocaína, con un peso total de 200 kilos. Según las investigaciones preliminares, el cargamento tenía como destino final el Puerto de Tánger, en Marruecos, lo que pone de manifiesto la apertura y consolidación de rutas de distribución directa hacia el norte de África.
La intervención culminó con la detención del conductor del camión, identificado como Luis Q. S., de nacionalidad ecuatoriana. Además de la droga y el vehículo incautado, la Policía se hizo con dos dispositivos móviles que serán fundamentales para rastrear a los contactos logísticos en el origen y a los receptores en el continente africano.
Las autoridades estiman que este decomiso ha impedido la circulación de dos millones de dosis en el mercado ilícito, ocasionando un impacto económico superior a los 6 millones de dólares sobre las estructuras del crimen organizado.

The port of Guayaquil and its access to the Posorja terminal continue to be the focus of attention in operations against drug trafficking. Just a few hours earlier, authorities had dismantled an organization that was introducing cocaine in containers at the deep-water port; on this occasion, the National Police of Ecuador has once again managed to neutralize an operation at the same logistical point, preventing a new shipment from being loaded for international routes.
The operation took place in the strategic enclave of Posorja, where intelligence and intervention agents intercepted a vehicle heading to the maritime port. During a thorough inspection of the container, which belonged to the shipping company Maersk, police found eight high-resistance travel bags, which were skillfully concealed among the cargo of merchandise pallets.
Upon examining the packages, security forces discovered a total of 200 rectangular packages that, after conducting the relevant field tests, tested positive for cocaine hydrochloride, with a total weight of 200 kilos. According to preliminary investigations, the shipment was destined for the Port of Tangier in Morocco, highlighting the opening and consolidation of direct distribution routes to North Africa.
The intervention culminated in the arrest of the truck driver, identified as Luis Q. S., of Ecuadorian nationality. In addition to the drugs and the seized vehicle, the police confiscated two mobile devices that will be crucial for tracking logistical contacts at the origin and recipients on the African continent.
Authorities estimate that this seizure has prevented the circulation of two million doses in the illicit market, causing an economic impact of over 6 million dollars on the structures of organized crime.
