Más de mil kilogramos de cocaína camuflada en un envío de cocos en Sevilla

Sevilla se posiciona nuevamente como un punto clave en las rutas del narcotráfico a nivel internacional. Tras recientes intervenciones en la región andaluza dirigidas contra redes criminales establecidas en esta localidad y que utilizan métodos de ocultación en contenedores marítimos, la Agencia Tributaria y la Guardia Civil han propinado un nuevo golpe a las estructuras dedicadas a la importación marítima al interceptar una considerable cantidad de cocaína.
La investigación dio inicio en diciembre del año pasado, cuando los agentes comenzaron a observar la actividad sospechosa de una empresa situada en Dos Hermanas (Sevilla), la cual se sospecha que estaba siendo empleada como una fachada para facilitar la entrada de sustancias ilícitas en el territorio nacional.
Las indagaciones permitieron centrar la atención en un contenedor marítimo que había sido importado, lo que llevó a desplegar un operativo de seguimiento para actuar de manera coordinada durante el momento de la entrega.
La intervención culminó con la detención de dos individuos por un delito de tráfico de drogas, así como la incautación de dinero en efectivo y dispositivos electrónicos tras realizar dos registros domiciliarios en la provincia.
La operación ha sido coordinada por la Unidad Operativa del Servicio de Vigilancia Aduanera de Sevilla, en colaboración con otros cuerpos de seguridad de la zona. Las autoridades continúan con la investigación abierta y no descartan la posibilidad de realizar nuevos arrestos en los próximos días.

Seville once again positions itself as a key point in international drug trafficking routes. Following recent interventions in the Andalusian region aimed at criminal networks established in this locality that use concealment methods in shipping containers, the Tax Agency and the Civil Guard have dealt a new blow to the structures dedicated to maritime importation by intercepting a considerable amount of cocaine.
The investigation began in December of last year when agents started to observe the suspicious activity of a company located in Dos Hermanas (Seville), which is suspected of being used as a front to facilitate the entry of illicit substances into the national territory.
The inquiries allowed attention to be focused on a shipping container that had been imported, leading to the deployment of a surveillance operation to act in a coordinated manner during the delivery moment.
The intervention culminated in the arrest of two individuals for drug trafficking, as well as the seizure of cash and electronic devices after conducting two home searches in the province.
The operation has been coordinated by the Operational Unit of the Customs Surveillance Service of Seville, in collaboration with other security forces in the area. Authorities continue with the ongoing investigation and do not rule out the possibility of making new arrests in the coming days.
