Las fuerzas de seguridad de México, tras llevar a cabo múltiples operativos contra el narcotráfico en el país, como el que culminó en un tiroteo, la interceptación de tres narcolanchas y la incautación de 4.000 kilos de cocaína en las regiones de Oaxaca, Chiapas y Nayarit, además de la intervención de más de una tonelada de cocaína y combustible en las aguas cercanas a Chiapas, han dado un nuevo golpe al crimen organizado al decomisar casi dos toneladas de la misma droga, en una operación que resultó en la detención de dos individuos.
En este sentido, durante una operación marítima realizada frente a las costas de Guerrero, en las cercanías de Acapulco, personal de la Secretaría de Marina (Semar) logró incautar 1,9 toneladas de cocaína, una cantidad que se traduce en más de tres millones de dosis, así como la captura de dos personas que supuestamente están relacionadas con el cargamento.
Los agentes, tras llevar a cabo una persecución marítima que obligó a los narcotraficantes a encallar su embarcación, se dirigieron al lugar para evitar el desembarco de la droga y arrestar a dos sospechosos.
Con este nuevo decomiso, la actual administración federal ha conseguido asegurar, en total, cerca de 90 toneladas de cocaína en el mar, una cifra que evidencia el fortalecimiento de la vigilancia marítima en las costas del país.
Las autoridades enfatizaron que este tipo de operaciones evita que las drogas lleguen a las calles y, a su vez, debilita de manera directa la capacidad financiera y operativa de los grupos criminales que se dedican al narcotráfico.

Mexico's security forces, after carrying out multiple operations against drug trafficking in the country, including one that ended in a shootout, the interception of three drug boats, and the seizure of 4,000 kilos of cocaine in the regions of Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Nayarit, in addition to the intervention of over one ton of cocaine and fuel in the waters near Chiapas, have dealt another blow to organized crime by confiscating nearly two tons of the same drug, in an operation that resulted in the arrest of two individuals.
In this regard, during a maritime operation conducted off the coast of Guerrero, near Acapulco, personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) managed to seize 1.9 tons of cocaine, an amount that translates to more than three million doses, as well as the capture of two people who are allegedly linked to the shipment.
The agents, after conducting a maritime chase that forced the traffickers to run their vessel aground, proceeded to the site to prevent the unloading of the drug and arrest the two suspects.
With this new seizure, the current federal administration has managed to secure a total of nearly 90 tons of cocaine at sea, a figure that highlights the strengthening of maritime surveillance along the country's coasts.
Authorities emphasized that this type of operation prevents drugs from reaching the streets and, in turn, directly weakens the financial and operational capacity of the criminal groups engaged in drug trafficking.
