Contenido reformulado: La Policía Nacional del Ecuador, tras recientes intervenciones contra el crimen organizado, ha culminado una redada contra el Cártel de Jalisco que tuvo lugar en México en las últimas horas, donde se encontraron un tigre blanco y una pantera negra. Este operativo se llevó a cabo mediante un contundente golpe a los dos grupos que operan para dicho cártel en el territorio ecuatoriano, conocidos como Los Lobos y Los Choneros.

De este modo, las fuerzas de seguridad, en estrecha colaboración con la Fiscalía y con la asistencia internacional de la DEA (Administración para el Control de Drogas, por sus siglas en inglés) y el Comando Sur de Estados Unidos, llevaron a cabo de manera simultánea las operaciones denominadas ‘Factoría’ y ‘Jericó’.

A raíz de 36 registros efectuados en las provincias de Guayas, Santo Domingo y otras localidades, la Policía logró arrestar a 43 individuos, entre los cuales se encontraban tres líderes de Los Lobos y dos mexicanos pertenecientes al Cártel de Jalisco. Durante el despliegue, los agentes patrullaron calles residenciales en la madrugada y trasladaron a los detenidos desde diferentes viviendas.

Entre los objetos incautados se destacan cerca de 2,5 toneladas de cocaína, más de un millón de dólares en efectivo y 25 armas de fuego, tanto cortas como largas, además de aproximadamente 1.000 cartuchos de diversos calibres.

Asimismo, los agentes retuvieron 21 vehículos, identificaron dos pistas clandestinas destinadas al aterrizaje de aeronaves utilizadas para el narcotráfico y decomisaron una avioneta junto a cerca de 1.000 litros de combustible.

Adicionalmente, se intervinieron 47 teléfonos móviles, chalecos de protección balística y una variedad de joyas de oro y relojes de lujo que estaban relacionados con los sujetos bajo investigación.

La Fiscalía llevó a cabo los operativos en Guayas y Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, pero también se extendieron a las provincias de Manabí, El Oro y Esmeraldas.

During the deployment, agents patrolled residential streets in the early morning and transported the detainees from various homes.

Among the seized items are nearly 2.5 tons of cocaine, over one million dollars in cash, and 25 firearms, both short and long, as well as approximately 1,000 cartridges of various calibers.

Additionally, agents retained 21 vehicles, identified two clandestine airstrips intended for the landing of aircraft used for drug trafficking, and confiscated a small aircraft along with nearly 1,000 liters of fuel.

Furthermore, 47 mobile phones, ballistic protection vests, and a variety of gold jewelry and luxury watches related to the subjects under investigation were seized.

The Prosecutor's Office carried out operations in Guayas and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, but they also extended to the provinces of Manabí, El Oro, and Esmeraldas.
