En los últimos meses, el río Guadiana y la provincia de Huelva han emergido como un lugar preferente para las organizaciones criminales que se dedican a la recolección de droga en alta mar, abarcando tanto hachís como cocaína. Entre las operaciones recientes destaca el descubrimiento de una 'guardería' en el lado portugués, así como los continuos hallazgos de alijos de cocaína en diferentes puntos de la costa.
Para sostener estas actividades ilícitas, es esencial el suministro de combustible -gasolina- que permite a las narcolanchas, prohibidas en España por el Decreto Ley de 2018 y también reguladas en Portugal desde mayo de 2026, permanecer en alta mar durante extensas jornadas, con el único propósito de aguardar el momento adecuado para introducir la droga en el territorio.
Tal como se observa en las imágenes y comentan los testigos, se trata de individuos muy jóvenes que, en esta ocasión, en el área de Ayamonte, próximo a la desembocadura del Guadiana, trasladan las petacas de gasolina hacia una embarcación de recreo donde esperan a otras personas que serán las encargadas de hacerla llegar a la planeadora en alta mar.
Los narcotraficantes no dudan en llevar a cabo este tipo de acciones a plena luz del día y en presencia de testigos, conscientes de que son superiores en número a las fuerzas de seguridad y que controlan ciertas áreas, generando temor en los ciudadanos. «Yo me voy para casa, tengo miedo», expresa uno de ellos. «No vienen vacíos, traen armas, mira lo que ocurrió el otro día», exclama otro, refiriéndose al triple asesinato ocurrido en Isla Cristina, en esa misma provincia.
La secuencia finaliza con la lancha dirigiéndose hacia alta mar, cargada de combustible para continuar abasteciendo a las narcolanchas y permitir que el negocio criminal siga operando.

In recent months, the Guadiana River and the province of Huelva have emerged as a preferred location for criminal organizations engaged in drug collection at sea, encompassing both hashish and cocaine. Among recent operations, the discovery of a 'nursery' on the Portuguese side stands out, as well as the continuous findings of cocaine shipments at various points along the coast.
To sustain these illicit activities, the supply of fuel - gasoline - is essential, allowing the narco-boats, prohibited in Spain by the 2018 Royal Decree and also regulated in Portugal since May 2026, to remain at sea for extended periods, with the sole purpose of waiting for the right moment to introduce the drugs into the territory.
As seen in the images and reported by witnesses, these are very young individuals who, on this occasion, in the area of Ayamonte, near the mouth of the Guadiana, are transporting gasoline jerrycans to a recreational boat where they await others who will be responsible for delivering it to the speedboat at sea.
The drug traffickers do not hesitate to carry out such actions in broad daylight and in the presence of witnesses, aware that they outnumber the security forces and control certain areas, instilling fear in citizens. "I'm going home, I'm scared," expresses one of them. "They don't come empty-handed, they bring weapons, look at what happened the other day," exclaims another, referring to the triple murder that occurred in Isla Cristina, in that same province.
The sequence concludes with the boat heading out to sea, loaded with fuel to continue supplying the narco-boats and allowing the criminal enterprise to keep operating.
