Contenido completo: En los meses recientes, fuentes judiciales han detallado a través de diversas operaciones la relevancia que tiene la desembocadura del río Guadalquivir, ubicada al sur de España, como una puerta de entrada de la cocaína a Europa. Sanlúcar de Barrameda, situada en esta desembocadura, está bajo el control de varias organizaciones dedicadas a la introducción de la droga, las cuales ya están en contacto directo con grupos colombianos.

La red conocida como el Marquesito ha sido objeto de amplio análisis en estos informes, al igual que el clan de Los Futbolistas, ambos grupos han caído en manos de las autoridades debido a alijos provenientes de Sudamérica, después de haber evolucionado desde el tráfico de hachís, aprovechando su infraestructura. Sin embargo, nunca antes se había registrado una evidencia tan contundente de la relevancia estratégica de esta localidad del sur de España. Hasta ahora, no se habían encontrado logotipos de Sanlúcar en los paquetes de cocaína en un gran cargamento en su origen.

«Hemos asestado un nuevo golpe al narcotráfico en el Caribe colombiano con la incautación de 3.595 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína en dos operaciones de interdicción marítima, debilitando así las economías ilícitas de las organizaciones criminales». Esta fue la declaración del alto mando de la Fuerza Naval del Caribe de la Armada de Colombia tras el descubrimiento.

«En una primera operación llevada a cabo a 100 millas náuticas de Cartagena, incautamos 3.121 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína y arrestamos a cinco individuos que los transportaban en una lancha tipo ‘gofast’». Añadió. En esa embarcación, que contaba con cuatro motores fueraborda, se encontraron los paquetes marcados con la identificación de Sanlúcar, los cuales, además, estaban equipados con códigos QR.

En una segunda operación, que se realizó muy cerca en tiempo y espacio, una Unidad de la Estación de Guardacostas de Cartagena descubrió una embarcación abandonada que contenía un compartimiento oculto donde se transportaban 474 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína.

Los cinco detenidos junto con la droga fueron trasladados al puerto de la ciudad turística en el norte de Colombia. Fue en este lugar donde se abrieron los fardos y se identificó el destino de parte de la mercancía ilícita que estaba siendo transportada.

En relación con las medidas preventivas en España, el ministro del Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, anunció recientemente una significativa inversión destinada a la instalación de barreras físicas en el río Guadalquivir, a la altura de Sanlúcar, con el objetivo de intentar frenar el flujo de cocaína aguas arriba.

Full content: In recent months, judicial sources have detailed through various operations the significance of the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, located in southern Spain, as a gateway for cocaine into Europe. Sanlúcar de Barrameda, situated at this estuary, is under the control of several organizations dedicated to drug trafficking, which are already in direct contact with Colombian groups.

The network known as Marquesito has been the subject of extensive analysis in these reports, as has the clan of Los Futbolistas; both groups have fallen into the hands of authorities due to shipments coming from South America, after evolving from hashish trafficking, taking advantage of their infrastructure. However, never before has there been such compelling evidence of the strategic relevance of this location in southern Spain. Until now, no logos from Sanlúcar had been found on cocaine packages in a large shipment at its origin.

"We have dealt a new blow to drug trafficking in the Colombian Caribbean with the seizure of 3,595 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride in two maritime interdiction operations, thereby weakening the illicit economies of criminal organizations." This was the statement from the high command of the Caribbean Naval Force of the Colombian Navy following the discovery.

"In the first operation carried out 100 nautical miles from Cartagena, we seized 3,121 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and arrested five individuals who were transporting it in a ‘gofast’ type boat." He added. On that vessel, which had four outboard motors, packages marked with the identification of Sanlúcar were found, which were also equipped with QR codes.

In a second operation, conducted very close in time and space, a unit from the Coast Guard Station in Cartagena discovered an abandoned vessel that contained a hidden compartment where 474 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were being transported.

The five detainees along with the drugs were taken to the port of the tourist city in northern Colombia. It was at this location where the bales were opened and the destination of part of the illicit merchandise being transported was identified.

Regarding preventive measures in Spain, the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, recently announced a significant investment aimed at installing physical barriers in the Guadalquivir River, at the height of Sanlúcar, with the goal of trying to curb the flow of cocaine upstream.
