En México, tras recientes operativos que incluyeron la interceptación de una tonelada de cocaína en las costas de Chiapas y el decomiso de 15 automóviles de lujo en las cercanías de Cancún, las fuerzas de seguridad han asestado un nuevo golpe al narcotráfico, que en esta ocasión se ha visto acompañado de un violento enfrentamiento armado durante el operativo.
La Secretaría de Marina (Semar) llevó a cabo una doble operación en las costas del océano Pacífico y en diversas áreas terrestres del país, logrando el decomiso de más de cuatro toneladas de cocaína, al tiempo que repelía un ataque armado.
El golpe más significativo se materializó a través de tareas de vigilancia marítima en las costas de Chiapas y Oaxaca. En el transcurso de esta intervención, los elementos navales lograron interceptar y detener tres embarcaciones que transportaban el valioso cargamento, evitando así que millones de dosis de droga llegaran a las calles.
Simultáneamente, durante un operativo terrestre en el estado de Nayarit, el personal de la Semar fue agredido a balazos por individuos armados que se encontraban en el lugar. Al repeler la agresión, los uniformados lograron abatir a uno de los agresores y también incautaron un arma de fuego, cargadores y varios cartuchos útiles en el sitio de los hechos.
Las autoridades subrayaron que estas operaciones tienen un impacto significativo en la capacidad operativa y en la estructura financiera de las organizaciones criminales. Con esta intervención en aguas del océano Pacífico, la Secretaría de Marina ha logrado incautar más de 80 toneladas de cocaína en los mares mexicanos durante la actual administración.

In Mexico, following recent operations that included the interception of one ton of cocaine on the coasts of Chiapas and the seizure of 15 luxury vehicles near Cancun, security forces have dealt another blow to drug trafficking, which this time was accompanied by a violent armed confrontation during the operation.
The Secretary of the Navy (Semar) carried out a dual operation on the Pacific Ocean coasts and in various land areas of the country, managing to seize more than four tons of cocaine while repelling an armed attack.
The most significant blow was achieved through maritime surveillance tasks on the coasts of Chiapas and Oaxaca. During this intervention, naval personnel managed to intercept and detain three vessels carrying the valuable cargo, thus preventing millions of doses of drugs from reaching the streets.
Simultaneously, during a land operation in the state of Nayarit, Semar personnel were shot at by armed individuals present at the scene. In repelling the attack, the officers managed to take down one of the assailants and also seized a firearm, magazines, and several live cartridges at the site of the events.
Authorities emphasized that these operations have a significant impact on the operational capacity and financial structure of criminal organizations. With this intervention in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Secretary of the Navy has managed to seize more than 80 tons of cocaine in Mexican waters during the current administration.
