Una reciente operación conjunta llevada a cabo por Vigilancia Aduanera, la Policía Nacional y la Guardia Civil en aguas de la provincia de Huelva estuvo a punto de culminar de la peor forma posible, todo ello debido a las maniobras realizadas por los narcotraficantes para eludir la acción de las autoridades.
La situación se desencadenó cuando las fuerzas de seguridad detectaron la llegada de una embarcación de recreo sospechosa, que presentaba la proa considerablemente hundida a la altura del río Carreras, lo que llevó a establecer un dispositivo para su captura.
Así, uno de los narcotraficantes fue recogido por la embarcación rápida que, simultáneamente, intentaba, a través de maniobras peligrosas, evitar la detención del segundo sospechoso. Aunque no logró su segundo objetivo, sí consiguió el primero: uno de ellos logró escapar.
Posteriormente, los funcionarios procedieron a inspeccionar la lancha recreativa, obteniendo los resultados esperados: en su interior transportaba 26 fardos con un peso aproximado de 1.000 kilos de hachís, cuyo valor en el mercado negro es considerable y que ya no alcanzarán a comercializar.

A recent joint operation carried out by Customs Surveillance, the National Police, and the Civil Guard in the waters of the province of Huelva was on the verge of ending in the worst possible way, all due to the maneuvers performed by the drug traffickers to evade the authorities' action.
The situation was triggered when the security forces detected the arrival of a suspicious recreational vessel, which had its bow significantly submerged at the height of the Carreras River, leading to the establishment of a device for its capture.
Thus, one of the drug traffickers was picked up by the fast boat that was simultaneously attempting, through dangerous maneuvers, to prevent the arrest of the second suspect. Although it did not achieve its second objective, it did succeed in the first: one of them managed to escape.
Subsequently, the officials proceeded to inspect the recreational boat, obtaining the expected results: it was carrying 26 bales weighing approximately 1,000 kilos of hashish, whose value on the black market is considerable and which they will no longer be able to sell.
