Contenido completo: La Policía Nacional de Francia se encuentra en un estado de indignación. La normativa vigente en el país no es tan efectiva como podría aparentar, y aunque los Juzgados Interregionales Especializados en crimen organizado (JIRS) logran que la respuesta penal sea más eficiente que en naciones como España, ocasionalmente se presentan fallos en el sistema. Esta es la situación que se ha producido en las últimas horas, con la liberación de una violenta organización de narcotraficantes debido a un error en el proceso judicial. Esta red se desplazaba a la Península Ibérica en vehículos de gran tamaño para suministrar drogas al área metropolitana de París, utilizando una de las rutas terrestres de narcotráfico más activas a nivel mundial.

El conjunto de eventos que concluyó con la liberación -provisional, cabe señalar, a la espera de juicio- se inició con la incautación de aproximadamente 130 kilos de hachís en un automóvil en la capital francesa, tras un incidente en el que el conductor embistió a los agentes que intentaban detenerlo en dos ocasiones, resultando en lesiones para varios de ellos. Este incidente tuvo lugar en enero de 2024.

Continuando con las investigaciones, los agentes lograron interceptar un segundo convoy en las proximidades de París que, siguiendo el mismo patrón operativo, estaba compuesto por un vehículo que actuaba como lanzadera y otro más grande encargado de transportar la droga. En esta ocasión, se incautaron otros 110 kilos, todos provenientes de España. Durante ambos operativos fueron arrestados los ocupantes de los vehículos así como el responsable de un almacén, sumando un total de seis detenidos.

La etapa final de la investigación abarcó la identificación de dos individuos más a través del análisis de ADN encontrado en los paquetes de droga, el cual fue contrastado con las bases de datos policiales. Uno de ellos fue capturado inmediatamente al llegar a París en un vuelo procedente de Marrakech, mientras que el segundo sigue en paradero desconocido.

El juicio, que estaba programado para celebrarse la semana anterior, ha sido pospuesto hasta octubre de 2027, lo que ha llevado a las autoridades a liberar a los seis sospechosos que se encontraban bajo prisión preventiva.

This is the situation that has unfolded in recent hours, with the release of a violent drug trafficking organization due to an error in the judicial process. This network operated in the Iberian Peninsula using large vehicles to supply drugs to the metropolitan area of Paris, utilizing one of the most active land trafficking routes in the world.

The series of events that concluded with the release—provisional, it should be noted, pending trial—began with the seizure of approximately 130 kilos of hashish in a car in the French capital, following an incident in which the driver rammed into officers attempting to stop him on two occasions, resulting in injuries to several of them. This incident took place in January 2024.

Continuing with the investigations, agents managed to intercept a second convoy near Paris that, following the same operational pattern, consisted of a vehicle acting as a shuttle and another larger one responsible for transporting the drugs. On this occasion, another 110 kilos were seized, all coming from Spain. During both operations, the occupants of the vehicles were arrested, as well as the person in charge of a warehouse, totaling six detainees.

The final stage of the investigation involved the identification of two more individuals through DNA analysis found on the drug packages, which was matched against police databases. One of them was captured immediately upon arriving in Paris on a flight from Marrakech, while the second remains at large.

The trial, which was scheduled to take place the previous week, has been postponed until October 2027, leading authorities to release the six suspects who were in pre-trial detention.
