Un registro posterior de su domicilio, donde también se encontraba su padre, un jubilado de 66 años con el que convivía, descubrió un considerable alijo de estupefacientes.

En el interior de la vivienda se hallaron y confiscaron 459,4 kilos adicionales de hachís, distribuidos en bloques, así como cinco kilos de marihuana, junto con cuatro teléfonos móviles y material destinado a pesaje y empaquetado. La cantidad total de drogas incautadas, de haber sido comercializadas, podría haber generado alrededor de 2,5 millones de euros.

Los tres hombres fueron detenidos en flagrante delito y trasladados a la prisión Regina Coeli de Roma, donde el juez instructor del Tribunal de Roma ratificó sus arrestos y ordenó la prisión preventiva para los hombres de 38 y 43 años, mientras que el hombre de 66 años fue colocado bajo arresto domiciliario.
