En noviembre de 2025, los lectores de medios especializados conocieron los pormenores de la operación Embarcadero-Bambú, una labor policial llevada a cabo por la Guardia Civil que puso de manifiesto la existencia de una ruta operativa que incluía el envío de significativas cantidades de cocaína desde Sevilla y Madrid hacia la Isla de Tenerife, donde organizaciones criminales también recibían armas producidas en la capital andaluza.
Ahora, seis meses después de esos acontecimientos, el Instituto Armado ha procedido a la detención de cinco individuos más, entre los que se encuentra el presunto número 2 de la organización delictiva, lo que ha dejado a la mencionada red en una situación muy comprometida.
Asimismo, se ha descubierto que la red contaba con un taller clandestino en la ciudad de Sevilla donde se fabricaban de manera artesanal las armas, que posteriormente eran entregadas a diversos integrantes del crimen organizado, en un establecimiento que fue desmantelado en noviembre de 2025, durante la primera fase de la operación.
Los detenidos han sido puestos a disposición de la autoridad judicial y tres de ellos han sido encarcelados de manera preventiva, lo que subraya la relevancia de los hechos que han sido investigados y esclarecidos.

In November 2025, readers of specialized media sources learned the details of Operation Embarcadero-Bambú, a police effort carried out by the Civil Guard that revealed the existence of an operational route involving the shipment of significant quantities of cocaine from Seville and Madrid to the Island of Tenerife, where criminal organizations also received weapons produced in the Andalusian capital.
Now, six months after those events, the Armed Institute has proceeded to arrest five more individuals, including the alleged number 2 of the criminal organization, which has left the aforementioned network in a very compromised situation.
Additionally, it has been discovered that the network had a clandestine workshop in the city of Seville where weapons were handcrafted, which were later delivered to various members of organized crime, in a facility that was dismantled in November 2025, during the first phase of the operation.
The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, and three of them have been held in preventive custody, underscoring the significance of the facts that have been investigated and clarified.
