En los últimos meses, se ha detectado una tendencia por parte de los narcotraficantes a diversificar sus estrategias en el transporte de diversas drogas en los puntos críticos a nivel internacional, siendo el hachís una de ellas. De este modo, al tradicional método de envío entre Marruecos y España mediante narcolanchas o camiones con compartimentos ocultos, se suma el uso intensivo de embarcaciones recreativas que, simulando viajes de ocio, ocultan la mercancía ilícita.
Esto fue validado por la Comisión Especial de Seguridad de la Marina de Tánger, la principal ciudad del norte de Marruecos. En el puerto Marina Bay, una destacada instalación con capacidad para 1.400 atraques, los agentes localizaron dos alijos en distintas embarcaciones, en un doble operativo realizado este sábado, durante el cual fueron arrestadas seis personas por presuntos delitos contra la Salud Pública.
En la primera intervención, los investigadores centraron su atención en una embarcación en la que se encontraban cuatro personas que les parecieron sospechosas. Por esta razón, procedieron a registrar dicha embarcación, encontrando en ella varios compartimentos ocultos donde se incautaron 327 kilos de hachís.
La segunda de las lanchas que fue registrada contaba con dos tripulantes a bordo, quienes, al igual que los cuatro anteriores, fueron detenidos. En esta embarcación se encontraron otros 176 kilos de sustancia estupefaciente.
Todos los detenidos fueron puestos a disposición de la Policía Judicial de Tánger, que se ocupa de ampliar las investigaciones para determinar las conexiones internacionales relacionadas con este suceso.

In recent months, a trend has been detected among drug traffickers to diversify their strategies in the transportation of various drugs at critical international points, with hashish being one of them. Thus, in addition to the traditional method of shipping between Morocco and Spain using narco-boats or trucks with hidden compartments, there is an intensive use of recreational vessels that, simulating leisure trips, conceal illicit merchandise.
This was validated by the Special Security Commission of the Marina of Tangier, the main city in northern Morocco. At the Marina Bay port, a prominent facility with a capacity for 1,400 berths, agents located two drug shipments on different vessels during a double operation carried out this Saturday, during which six individuals were arrested for alleged crimes against Public Health.
In the first intervention, investigators focused their attention on a vessel with four individuals on board who appeared suspicious. For this reason, they proceeded to search the vessel, finding several hidden compartments where 327 kilograms of hashish were seized.
The second boat that was searched had two crew members on board, who, like the previous four, were detained. On this vessel, another 176 kilograms of narcotic substance were found.
All detainees were made available to the Judicial Police of Tangier, which is responsible for expanding the investigations to determine the international connections related to this incident.
